I am so going broke... But if only someone would open up an ELF spree right now... I need to get my mineral powder and brushes and and eyebrow powder. Hmmm, Mad Minerals spree also good, like that I can get those very funky and glittery powder and eyeshadows and and eye liner and and and.. Wahahahaha!!
I got a shock of my life when my mum called me the other day and told me the my youngest uncle had tried to take his own life by swallowing some errosive shit and was in the ICU. Apparently, he had told mummy about a week ago that he's sick of life and that the gloomy weather is making him feel worst. Anyhowz, he passed away 2 or 3 days after the ordeal.
Well, he was once my favourite uncle and I think it's only right that I pay him a last visit, though he won't know about it la... Moreover, I would love to see mummy~!
Anyhowz, getting tickets to Malaysia during school hols is no easy matter ok? Why the hell do everyone wanna go Malaysia during school hols sia? Got so fun meh? I tried searching and calling every express coach company and they tell me the same thing, no tix to Melaka. That was until I call Plusliner and this stupid malay woman answer the phone and told me that they have A LOT of seats left. So, after rationalising with myself for a bit, I decided that I should make a trip down to buy the tix before its sold out again. After spending around $18.00 on the cab fare and listening to the taxi uncle rant about various issues thoughout the ride, I reached Grand Copthorne Orchid; where the sales counter is, THEY FUCKING TELL ME THAT THEY DON'T CATER FOR TRIPS TO MELAKA. I ish mad dao!!! NNB!!
Well, what can I do right? So I spend another 10 over bucks to go right home and start searching again. And I found my saviour, www.easibook.com. Found it though a post in 88db lo (posted in 2007 or 08 I think).
Anyhow, I am just glad I got the tix.
As usual, woke up late on late on the day of departure, which was Sat, and rushed through the morning ritual and heng ah, still made it there on time. We were sitted in front of 2 non-stop yakking Ah Tiongs who can't lower their voice, let alone keep their mouths shut. Sibei irritating.

Reached Melaka after a 4-hour ride. Ka chng also melt liao... Rushed to go eat lunch then went home rest a while, go eat dinner then went to my uncle's wake. And I am very fucking sure that I hate Vicmund. I tried to play nice since his father just passed away and the mother was quite a pitiful sight, sobbing every now and then, but I just can't stand that little peice of shit sia. Totally cannot... Basket...
Honi was due for cremation the next day, woke up early, eat breakfast, walk behind the van, go crematorium.

All in all, I spent slightly around a thousand dollars for this weekend trip.. Diao...
Sigh, my mum's side de family now is chaos sia... Everything seems to fall apart after my grandma passed away... Jing cham... Well, I guess just as long as I keep my mum happy, it should be pretty enough eh?
Lao Ban was mad at Dex for coming back to SGP and spending a lot of his money. Dex got a brand new Sony VAIO, went on a trip to KL, got himself a gf and spent V day in Batam or Bintan. Mainly at the expense of Lao Ban.
To make things worse, Dex spent his last day in SGP at his gf's place and made Lao Ban even mad-der than before. So, Lao Ban put on this very emo attitude at the airport and refuse to talk to anyone until Dex went over to coax him a little. Oh, and that look on his face while he watched his favourite son walked towards the gate, it makes my stomach churn in disgust.

I had a horrigible V-day at Hotel Rendevous. Slow services, dusty room without bath tub & balcony and lousy dinner in totally no ambience, makeshift restaurant that makes me feel like I'm there for an ultra lousy speed dating thingy...

So wherever u go, and whatever u do for V-day, please DON'T BLOODY GO TO HOTEL RENDEVOUZ k? In fact, just don't go there for whatever reasons... It sucks badly...
I have decided to abandon the abandon ship program and stick to blogger instead. Reason being that Angie is not in the mood for such stuff at the moment.. =)
We went to Jurong Birdpark for Dillie's birthday. I told him that he should be visiting his in-laws on the special day (he calls me Jiao Jiao, citing that I behave like a baby bird waiting to be fed all the time).
Anyhow, I had invited the 2 smaller koklets and Benson for his birthday dinner!! It was meant to be a nice little surprise for him but too bad, he had found out quite sometime back, when I ask him to pass me my phone and Benson's SMS were on the screen. TMD...

Sort of ended our exploration of the Birdpark here. We proceed to make our way to Jurong Hilltop Restaurant, where they serve nice and not very expensive Teppanyaki~ The rest were there and waiting for our arrival.
Was a tad disappointed to see that he's not very surprise. Actually, I sort of know that he knew about this dinner since he did not ask me who I was SMS-ing with the whole day. I just hope that I was wrong but it turns out that he had already guessed. TMD.. Surprise dinner failed.
It was surprising to see that the restaurant was pretty crowded. I thought of not making any reservations and just walk-in like that. Heng ah, I did make a reservation afterall. Anywayz, Dillie got a green iPod shuffle from Benben and a purple & black striped Topman shirt from the koklets. As for me, I haven't got him anything... yet. I don't know what the hell to get him sia. It gets very difficult to get presents for the same fella after a while. Think it's time to change a boyfriend or something... =P
Anyhowz, I had gotten him a watch, a wallet, shirts, jerseys, slippers, piggy banks, earphones for his work, mobile phone for 08 Christmas. Sigh, I should go rack my brains some more.
We placed our orders and proceeded to the Teppanyaki area. They tied this bright orange bib thingy around our neck. We all thought that it was funny. For some reasons, Dex felt like having some Yu-Sheng and we had yet another round of Lo Hei in the restaurant. So odd!

Dinner was good, I especially love the King Prawn thingy. Damn it!! The service there isn't all that fantastic. We told the stupid China woman that we are sharing all the food and she kept telling us this 1 not enough for all of you, must order 2 sets, that 1 not enough, must order 2 sets. Dillie was a tad piss with her.
Also, I had called earlier to check if they give out complimentary parking coupons to patrons of the restaurant as we do not have enough credits left in the Cashcards, the same Ah Tiong woman told me 'yes, yes, the parking is free'. Naturally, I thought she meant that we will be given the parking coupons. At the end of the dinner, I ask her for the coupons, she gave a weird face and said the parking is FREE after a certain time. I was like, wth? Then don't say yes when I ask you if you give complimentary coupons or not la. Fucker...
On to the happier thingies, we were discussing where to go after the dinner, there were suggestions like bowling, movie, play pool, KTV but we decided on a Shisha session in Arab Street.
Walked around the streets for a while, looking for a good Shisha place. Went to the Ambrosia Cafe (something like that) above a Teh Tarik place. Ok place la, we all have to take off our shoes and sit on the floor. Ordered a strawberry flavoured Shisha and some tea abd started to waste our time there.
It's a pretty cosy place, though I think all those cushions and carpets are a tad dirty. Just think, how many sweaty, smelly people had sat on the carpets and cushions and do they wash their cushions covers at all? Anyhowz, tried not to think too much and just concentrate on having a little fun.
